All-New X-Men #5 Review:
I didn’t buy many comics this week, so warning, this is my last one.
You know what’s wrong with All-New X-Men? Too many damn hyphens in the name. Jeez. This week’s comic was fairly good again. Bendis writes great stories, but his one issue is that he writes his comics to be fairly “talky.”
Now, there’s nothing wrong with tons of dialogue. I know I like it, but it may not work for other people. I did take issue with other things, like, isn’t having these young X-Men do things in the future you know, causing a rift in time-space?
I hope Bendis actually addresses the time-space issue, because I’m concerned about the implications of saving Beast, Jean Grey and Cyclops relationship etc. I think it’s a bit lazy to have them all merely mind-wiped by Professor X when they return, so I’ll be curious to see if that’s really the endgame solution to the time-space issue.
6.8/10 only because this issue is filler.
